I have various types of barefoot and minimalist shoes so wanted to try out the sock version. These did not disappoint. My left foot is a bit bigger than my right so they’re a tad tight. I also wimpish my toes splayed out more, but I have a super wide foot. Hopefully they will stretch out some with wear and I’ll be able to utilize this pair without having to return them.

I suffer with neuropathy and neuropathy effects balance. I struggle with walking in shoes. Minimalist shoes help me to be able to walk better. They are like walking bare foot. The soles conform to your feet, not like regular shoes that your feet have to conform to. These were an excellent buy for me, and the price was excellent as well.

Love this, especially on a hot night. It really helps to grab this during a sleepless restlessness to just cool down and relax back into comfort, even if you can't get back to sleep. At least you're not miserably hot and sticky/sweaty, just awake!

1 MONTH OPINION: I have been wearing minimalist shoes for many years now, and so these looked very compelling. However, I was concerned that these wouldn't last as long as my New Year's resolutions. I have been wearing them on all my walks (some as long as 5 miles) with my dog which includes a lot of sidewalks and a little bit of trails. The shoes are super-comfortable and the bottom is showing only a little bit of wear. I suspect that they will eventually develop holes, but they've been surprisingly resilient to my many miles of walking. I am happy I got them and plan to get replacements when it's time to do so. My kids won't let me wear them in social situations because they say I look more weird than usual, but walks with my dog are fair game. I think they are awesome.

I've been wearing them for 2 days. They fit like a glove. Oh, like a sock. What I mean to say, it is a perfect fit. I do wear shoes size 9. They are true to size. I like the fact that they don't make any noise, unlike flip-flops that I've been wearing as slippers indoors. The sole is thin, but there's enough cushion there to keep my sensitive feet happy. We don't have carpets, only hard floors. I ordered another 2 pairs today, I will see how they perform in my gym. From the way they feel on my feet, they should be perfect for deadlifts. I only hope that they don't come apart while in the washer. As I just received them, and started using them, this 5 star review might get updated if any flaws come out. I hope not. I like them A LOT.

I use these to deadlift in - they give me a grip on the floor but still allow that tactile feel of "rooting" to the ground. Not sure about other applications, as this is all i use them for, but they certainly are comfortable and effective for this one task!

We live on a planet where, for some reason, nobody wants me to run around like a buffoon with no shoes on. These were an excellent find as a solution to silence the naysayers. I enjoy riding my bike with these on as biking seems to be one activity that is best enjoyed in foot prisons. Now I can ride and still have the sensation of freedom for my feet. As an added bonus these things are quiet to walk in and you can sneak up on people and scare the piddle out of them, if that's what you're in to.

love the firm support around the ankle considering the sock- like material that way the shoe stays on my foot which I've had problems with other barefoot type shoes. And the feel of the bottom on the interior as well as exterior is just absolutely phenomenal. I would have liked, however, a slightly wider toe box. Difficult to do to maintain the integrity, I understand, so still 5 stars for me. I can wiggle my toes just fine but I prefer wide toe boxes in my barefoot shoes.

So, I bought my first pair and instantly fell in love with them. I've worn barefoot shoes for close to seven years... I think.. honestly, time flies for me. Anyways, I've worn them non-stop. I even use them for work, and I work for hours on end on my feet walking, busting my butt all the time, and they're the best shoes I've worn when it comes to working. (Don't try this unless your feet are strong enough walking barefoot for hours.. WORKING. And you actually know how to walk CORRECTLY barefoot. Definitely not for beginners.) I even took them to Cali for vacation up in the mountains where it was snowing with very slippery and icy floors. Out of everyone in the family, I was the only one who didn't slip lmfao there was one time I almost did, but it's like I had enough grip to stay put. Kept my feet warm enough at least, I didn't really feel cold.. but I was also wearing socks, but they were wet in the end. I legit had a great time with them regardless. I've took them also to hike in, and it was great! And even to Disney, you can just imagine those long walks lol Came back to Miami where it's mad hot, and I wouldn't dare wear these without socks because since it's so hot my feet would easily sweat and sweaty feet and this material it has inside feels mad slippery and uncomfortable if you're sweating. But when I wear socks they're AMAZING, and I got stable footing again compared to when i was slippering in them sockless which honestly i think i almost injured myself because of the lack of stable footing. I always have people talking about them because they look like socks, and they say they look mad comfortable.. which by the way THEY ARE. I already had two of my home boys try them out cause they were mad curious, they loved them. So i bought them a pair each cause they're mad cheap and a extra pair for myself lol and now I see my homeboys wear them like crazy as well. I already do see the bottom starting to wear off from the use I put in for my first pair, but I'll be honest.. I really did put a beating on them like no joke... so In a sense I'm not surprised, but they're cheap so they're way worth it. I do have cats and a dog that shed like crazy, so when I first got these shoes they attracted ALL the hairs on the rubber parts, but as it gets used up they stopped sticking as much, and now they don't seem to stick at all except the top parts but easily can be taken off from the wooven parts. They do tend to smell after a while, but since I wear socks, I also wash them, and I take care of my feet and spray it against things like athletes foot, it's not a deal breaker for me because i dont allow it to get to bad smelling. I've also ran with these, felt good and i felt secure even with gravel, but mainly short runs. I've yet to try it for long distance running so I wouldn't know how they would hold up for something like that. I haven't even used my Vivobarefoot shoes since I got these. To me.. that's saying a lot because that's all I used to wear for years.
